Terms of Service

Effective February 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or using any Halstead Partners product (including Ledger Drone, Ledger Haul, Ledger Bale, and other Ledger Suite applications), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. License

Each purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the purchased application. Your license key is tied to the email address used at checkout. "Perpetual" means the software continues to function on your device indefinitely; it does not guarantee future updates or new features.

3. What You Get

  • A lifetime license for the purchased application
  • Unlimited invoice creation
  • All features available at the time of purchase
  • A unique referral code to share with others

4. Payments and Pricing

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing for future purchases, but your existing license is not affected by price changes.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase if the product does not work as described. To request a refund, email support@halstead.partners with your purchase email. Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear within 5-10 business days.

After 7 days, refunds are granted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

6. Referral Program

Each customer receives a referral code. When someone uses your code at checkout, they receive a discount and you earn a referral credit. Referral earnings are paid out via Stripe Connect. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time. Self-referrals (using your own referral code) are not permitted and will not earn referral credit.

7. License Restoration

If you lose access to your device, you can restore your license using the email address from your original purchase. A verification code will be sent to that email. We retain your email and license data to support this feature.

8. QuickBooks Online Integration

Our applications offer an optional integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online ("QBO Integration"). By connecting your QuickBooks Online account, you agree to the following:

  • The QBO Integration sends invoice data (customer name, line items, amounts) from your device to your QuickBooks Online account via the Intuit API. This is a one-way sync initiated by you.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of invoices sent to QuickBooks Online. We do not verify or guarantee that synced data is correct for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes.
  • We store encrypted OAuth tokens to maintain your connection. You can disconnect at any time from the app settings, which revokes and deletes your tokens.
  • The QBO Integration depends on Intuit's API availability. We are not responsible for downtime, changes, or discontinuation of the QuickBooks Online API.
  • Your use of QuickBooks Online is subject to Intuit's Terms of Service.

9. Your Data

Invoice data (customer names, field names, amounts, photos) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your invoice content unless you choose to send it to QuickBooks Online using the optional integration described above. 10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share, resell, or redistribute your license key
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the application
  • Abuse the referral system (including self-referrals or fraudulent referrals)
  • Use automated tools to access or interact with our services in an abusive manner

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for any business decisions, tax calculations, or financial records generated using our tools. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your invoices.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halstead Partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
